The gist
Candy AI app: there is none in the App Store or Google Play, and no official APK, as checked on September 23, 2026. Candy.ai is a web app instead. Open it in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android and add it to your home screen for a one-tap icon. The Shorts are vertical and about a minute each, so they suit a phone. A file or a store listing sold as the Candy AI app did not come from Candy.ai.
Candy AI mobile app: a web app, not a store app
There is no Candy AI app in the App Store or Google Play. What exists is a web app: Candy.ai ships a web app manifest named "Candy AI" in standalone display mode, so once you save it to your home screen it opens in its own window like an app, with its own icon. Candy.ai, its Shorts page and candyshorts.com link no store listing and no Telegram channel, as of September 23, 2026. The table sorts what you may run into.
| What you find | Official? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Candy.ai in your phone browser | Yes | The real web app, with the Shorts section inside |
| A home screen icon from Add to Home Screen | Yes | The same web app, saved on your phone |
| An App Store or Google Play listing | No | Candy.ai links no store listing |
| An APK file or a "mod" | No | No official APK exists |
| A Telegram bot or channel | No | No official Telegram channel exists |

Candy AI APK: why that file is not from Candy.ai
Candy.ai publishes no official APK, so a file called a Candy AI APK, a "mod" or a "premium unlocked" build comes from a stranger. An APK from an unknown source is code you cannot vouch for, and it asks for permissions on your phone. Candy AI download pages that push a file are the standard trap, and the safe route is the browser and the home screen icon above. The wider list of scams, from clone sites to card forms, is on Is Candy AI safe?
Candy AI Shorts download: why episodes only stream
There is no Candy AI Shorts download. The license is personal and covers streaming only: downloading, copying and redistributing episodes are prohibited, so a site or an app offering offline copies is not offering anything official. A CandyShorts app is not a separate download either: candyshorts.com is the sister website, and the Shorts section of Candy.ai holds the same catalog. Episodes run about a minute each, up to two, so a couple of them fit in a short break.
The Shorts on your phone: vertical by design
The Shorts are numbered, vertical episodes, so hold the phone upright and let the screen fill. Subtitles come in six languages on most series (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese), with Japanese added on 33 series, and 14 series also carry dubbed audio. A guest starts with episode 1, a free sign-up on Candy.ai unlocks episode 2, and from episode 3 Premium and tokens take over. The free-episodes page shows where to start.

Does Candy AI have an app?
Not in the stores. As of September 23, 2026 Candy.ai had no App Store or Google Play listing and no official APK. It is a web app that you can add to your phone's home screen from the browser.
Is there a Candy AI Shorts app for iPhone or Android?
No separate one. The Shorts are a section of the Candy.ai web app, and candyshorts.com is the sister website. On iPhone use Safari and on Android use Chrome to add Candy.ai to your home screen.
What is the Candy Shorts app?
There is no Candy Shorts app as such. The name points to the Shorts section of Candy.ai, with candyshorts.com as the sister website, and both run in your browser.
Can I download Candy Shorts episodes?
No. The license covers streaming for personal use, and downloading, copying and redistributing are prohibited. Offline copies sold elsewhere are unauthorized, and an APK offering them is a trap.
Is the Candy AI APK safe?
Candy.ai publishes no official APK, so a file by that name did not come from the operator. Stay in the browser, add the web app to your home screen, and do not allow installs from unknown sources.
