My Hot Professor is a college story with a ticking scholarship. Jake is a broke undergrad who needs one passing grade to keep his funding, and Professor Vaughn has just handed him his third failed test. She asks him to her office after five, tells him he is bright but distracted, and says she has noticed where his eyes go in her class. Then she makes an offer: there is another way to earn the grade, the dean will not hear of it, and the door is already locked.

Episode 1 is a conversation in an office, and it is tense because of how little is said. She calls his results a problem, he stammers, she calls it a deal, and she leaves the next move to him. Episode 2 brings the counterweight: Jake refuses because he has a girlfriend, and Vaughn answers that "The offer doesn't expire." Maya, who tops the same course, then sets up a study session with him. The episode ends with Jake beside Maya and thinking about the professor.
